The fabulous Emily and Tom married at this super Staffordshire wedding venue, right in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. Christmas was looming and Weston Hall put out all the stops to ensure this winter wedding was decorated with beautiful and stylish Christmas decorations. Brides of Solihull ensured Emily looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero wedding dress as she walked down the aisle to greet her husband to be Tom, who looked sharper than a Japanese chef’s knife. Supplied by Slater Menswear, Tom and his Groomsmen donned a tweed attire, ensuring the gents were more than ready for the occasion.
In early 2012, new owners took on Weston Hall with a view to making major refurbishments over a 6-month period. After restoring the building to its former glory, Weston Hall re–opened on 16th November 2012 and became a popular Staffordshire Wedding Venue.
The gable structure with three high pitched roofs immediately hits you as you begin your drive up to Weston Hall. Originated in 1550 this stunning building, really is one of beauty. The interior rooms certainly don’t let the exterior beauty down, with an abundance of character unique to each room.
~ Getting Ready ~
As the girls moved from room to room enjoying a few drinks, sharing laughs, shedding a few tears and listening to calming music, it was time for Emily to move across to the stunning bridal suite. The gorgeous elegant wedding dress was waiting, along with mum who assisted with ensuring Emily looked as beautiful as the wedding dress she wore.
~ The Ceremony ~
The ceremony was held in the Shrewsbury Suite on the first floor, decorated with some fabulous wedding attire, and a very nice Christmas tree! The Shrewsbury Suite enjoys its own private bar area and was the perfect place for Tom to relax with the guests, and enjoy a beer or two to calm his nerves, before seeing Emily for the first time, walking up the aisle in her wedding dress. Emily was lit beautifully by the stunning chandeliers above as she walked up the aisle, smiling nervously, arm in arm with her proud father. There were tears of joy, laughter and cheers from all, as Emily and Tom finally said those magic words….’I Do’.
~ Wedding Breakfast ~
The wedding party moved downstairs to the Westminster Suite, a beautiful room on the ground floor overlooking the garden at the front. The top table was situated up against the windows, with the rest of the guest tables perfectly situated opposite the newlyweds. Like the Shrewsbury Suite, the Westminster Suite has it’s own private bar area where guests can gather.
~ Rounding Up ~
I had a great time shooting at Weston Hall and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this venue to any engaged couples. The staff were very polite, super helpful and a joy to work with.
If you’re planning your wedding, either at Weston Hall or any other venue, i’d love to hear all about it and have the opportunity to be your wedding photographer.
